Great Characters

It is not uncommon for history to produce significant personalities who cause lasting international admiration. Be it through political achievements, science or social and cultural accomplishments, Montblanc pays tribute to such outstanding personalities in a collection specially launched for the first time in 2009 – the Great Characters collection. Posthumously, this unique series features writing instruments that portray their idols with amorous detail and reflect them uniquely and unmistakably. Not only fans of writing instruments get their taste through in this collection, because editions in honor of Albert Einstein or the legendary Beatles have also found many friends away from lovers of fountain pens and Co.
A special feature of this collection is that there are not only the various writing systems fountain pen, rollerball and ballpoint pen, but often appear simultaneously a special edition without special limitation and a very limited edition. The latter is often based on a significant year in the life of the model, such as the year of birth.
