Writing is one of the most important cultural assets of modern society and is also inseparably linked to the development of our society and technology. In order to celebrate the progress and achievements of mankind, Montblanc has created a very modern design language in its own series with the Starwalker collection, which has established itself alongside the classic masterpieces among friends of the brand. In contrast to the highly ornamented collections such as Patron of Art or Writers Edition, the writing instruments of the Starwalker convince with clear and modern design. One of the mottos in the conception of the collection was “walk among the stars”, which is also found again and again as a theme in the various editions of the Starwalker collection.

The central feature of all writing instruments in this series is the seemingly floating Montblanc emblem on the cap top. The star-shaped logo is weightlessly located in the middle of transparent acrylic and has become the collection’s distinguishing feature. In addition to the usual writing systems of fountain pen, rollerball, fineliner, ballpoint pen and mechanical pencil, the Starwalker series also includes fancy versions with a screenwriter tip. The latter is designed for touch surfaces of modern smart devices and enables precise and simple operation of the often complex system interfaces. In addition to the classic masterpieces, the Starwalker collection has grown to become a constant in Montblanc’s lineup and continues to delight with new editions.
