We always guarantee the authenticity of our products. Our partners, some of whom have been with us for decades, are authorized Montblanc retailers. Nevertheless, every item we purchase undergoes an authenticity and completeness check by our experts.

Writing instruments currently in the Montblanc range are, of course, unused and delivered in their original packaging.

We only offer limited editions and collectibles in flawless, collectible condition – any deviations, if any, are always transparently noted in the product description.

You will receive the manufacturer's international Montblanc guarantee (2 years) on new products.

However, you will of course still receive our statutory warranty.

Excellent craftsmanship is Montblanc's highest priority. We are confident that you will not find any defects in your writing instrument.

If you decide to order from our online shop, the following applies: The product must be returned in the same condition in which you received it (e.g., new and unused). If the condition of the returned product differs from its original condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund.

Please note that the original Montblanc packaging of some items has changed from 2023 onwards. The black
Meisterstück packaging has been replaced with white cardboard packaging.
Affected product lines include Montblanc Meisterstück, Great Characters, Muses, Heritage and many more.

Should the packaging appear different in a product photo, this is due to the time the photo was taken. You can be assured that you are always holding only genuine products.

All ballpoint pens and rollerballs/fineliners come with a black "M" refill. For pencils, you can find the refill size in the respective product description. Fountain pens of all types (piston/cartridge fillers) are always shipped empty.

All Montblanc writing instruments with this designation can generally be refilled with rollerball or fineliner refills, depending on your preference. The writing instrument comes standard with a rollerball refill of size "M."

Yes, we offer engraving. It's best to add the engraving option to your shopping cart on the respective product page.

We don't offer purchase on account in our online shop. However, you can process a purchase on account via PayPal or the payment service provider Klarna (this may vary depending on the country and the location), or you can make a reservation by phone if you would like to pick up your writing instrument in person. When you purchase a voucher from Handelshaus Rheinländer, you will receive a one-time code that you can apply during your checkout process. The voucher amount will then be deducted from your invoice total.

Yes. Of course, all shipments are insured up to the full value of the goods.

We ship all orders within the EU and Switzerland free of charge. For orders outside the EU, we calculate shipping costs based on the value of the goods to ensure the best possible protection during transport.

Yes. You will receive a tracking number after shipment. The tracking code will be included in your order. Please note that depending on the shipping provider, it may take up to 24 hours for the tracking information to become available.

Yes, we ship to every country and process the appropriate customs declarations. Each shipment is accompanied by a correct and complete invoice in accordance with German law.

There are no customs duties within the European Union. For countries outside the EU, the regulations of the respective recipient country apply. Please note that any fees are to be paid by the recipient and inform yourself about the amount in advance.

A Montblanc writing instrument is a companion for life – with proper care, it will remain in perfect condition for a very long time.

To do this, always keep your writing instrument clean and dry. Ideally, store it in a case to protect the delicate surfaces.

Metal or resin surfaces can be gently wiped with a soft, lint-free cloth. Please avoid any cleaning agents or textured surfaces to prevent scratches.

For special editions or longer periods of non-use, we recommend storing the writing instrument empty and having it professionally cleaned before the next use.

We are of course happy to provide you with detailed care instructions, professional cleaning or comprehensive refurbishment.

In our online shop, we carry a small selection of inks, especially in specific editions. For replacement inks and refills, we recommend visiting a Montblanc boutique or stationery store near you that carries Montblanc products. This way, you can be sure to find the perfect accessories for your unique writing instrument.

Yes. For items from the current Montblanc range, you receive a two-year international manufacturer's warranty.

In principle and for all products, the statutory warranty applies, which you receive when purchasing from Handelshaus Rheinländer.

Don't worry, we can find a solution for (almost) any type of damage!

We're happy to repair minor scratches or signs of wear for you in our in-house workshop. We assess larger damage on an individual basis, if necessary in consultation with the manufacturer.

Whether you purchased your writing instrument from us or not, we are happy to help you.

Subsequent engraving is also possible. Simply contact us by phone or email – we'll be happy to advise you personally and take care of the implementation.

If you would like to return an item to us, please notify our customer support team in advance. You will then receive a return label and can return your order to us in full and securely packaged condition. After we receive and inspect the goods, the purchase amount will be refunded to the payment method you selected when placing your order.

Orders can generally be canceled as long as your package hasn't yet been shipped. Please contact us by email, using the contact form, or by phone to initiate the cancellation process.

Would you like to exchange an item from your order for a different one? No problem. After contacting our customer support, you will receive a return label for returning the exchanged item. The difference in price will be charged or refunded, and the new product will be shipped to you.

Unfortunately, gift vouchers and products that we have engraved or otherwise personalized at your request are non-returnable.
