Montblanc Great Masters

The classic Meisterstück was and remains an iconic work of art, ever since its launch in 1924. It's no wonder, then, that it has found a home alongside great masters, including at the Museum of Modern Art. Since 2010, the Meisterstück Great Masters collection has added another facet to the concept of masterful craftsmanship. It unites Montblanc's ambition to create masterful writing instruments with the exceptional expertise, tradition, and perfection of other artisanal disciplines of comparable iconic quality. The Meisterstück L'Aubrac Special Edition pays tribute to the distinctive knives forged in Laguiole in southern France. Its grenadilla wood handle is reminiscent, both visually and to the touch, of the scales on knives from this world-renowned cutler in the Aubrac region.

The Great Masters Pirelli Limited Edition, with its rubber body featuring a tire tread pattern, evokes associations with motorsport and the tire company that has been among the absolute best in this field for decades: Pirelli. The Special Edition Great Masters James Purdey and Sons almost makes you think you hear the traditional hunting cry of "Halali." The signature Purdey shooting star, the walnut wood, and the characteristic inlays are reminiscent of the hunting weapons of Maison James Purdey and Sons. And last but not least: Meissen, or Meissen porcelain. Since 1710, this manufactory has stood for extraordinary creations in white gold, or rather, kaolin from the manufactory's own mine. The crossed blue swords on a snow-white background enjoy worldwide renown and have represented top quality for over 300 years. Accordingly, they can also be found on the caps of the piston fountain pens and rollerball pens in the Montblanc Masters for Meisterstück Meissen Porcelain collection.
